HRT have requested extra time to complete Pedro de la Rosa's car before it is subjected to FIA scrutineering ahead of the Australian Grand Prix. The Spanish team have been struggling to be ready for the Formula One season, with their car not being able to contest any of the pre-season tests. The FIA have agreed to delay examining car 22 until 11am on Friday morning (12am Friday morning UK time), just one and a half hours ahead of the first practice session. De la Rosa's car must pass scrutineering by the race stewards before it would be allowed onto the Albert Park track.
