Form guide

Lewis Hamilton claimed victory at last year's inaugural grand prix in Austin and having taken victory at Indianapolis in 2007, could make it a hat-trick of victories in the USA this weekend. The Mercedes driver is the only current F1 driver to win in the United States. 2012 result: 1. Lewis Hamilton (McLaren); 2. Sebastian Vettel (Red Bull); 3. Fernando Alonso (Ferrari); 4. Felipe Massa (Ferrari); 5. Jenson Button (McLaren); 6. Kimi Raikkonen (Lotus); 7. Romain Grosjean (Lotus); 8. Nico Hulkenberg (Force India); 9. Pastor Maldonado (Williams); 10. Bruno Senna (Williams). Last five winners in the United States: 2012: Lewis Hamilton (McLaren); 2007: Lewis Hamilton (McLaren); 2006: Michael Schumacher (Ferrari); 2005: Michael Schumacher (Ferrari); 2004: Michael Schumacher (Ferrari).

Tyre allocation

Pirelli will bring the white-marked medium and orange-banded hard compounds to the Circuit of The Americas - as they did in 2012. They hope these choices will mean drivers are able to push despite the high-energy loads placed on the tyres. "The hard and medium compounds are the best choice to respond to the challenges of this fast track, which puts high-energy loads through the tyres due to varying elevations that alternate high speeds with some slower and more technical sections," the Italian firm explained.

Reprimands

With no reprimands handed out in Abu Dhabi, things remain unchanged as F1 heads to the USA. 2013 reprimands: 3 - Mark Webber, Charles Pic, Jules Bianchi.
2 - Nico Rosberg;.
1 - Fernando Alonso, Valtteri Bottas, Max Chilton, Romain Grosjean, Lewis Hamilton, Kimi Raikkonen, Adrian Sutil, Giedo van der Garde, Sebastian Vettel.

Sky Bet odds
