Promising rookie might leave - but only with team boss's blessing
Adrian Sutil has revealed he could leave Spyker at the end of the season, but only if the team says it's okay.
The German, who has a three-year contract with the team, impressed in wet practice at May's Monaco GP and also in last weekend's Belgian GP, where he spent the race fighting the likes of Honda and Toyota.
However, he has yet to actually score a point this season as Spyker have struggled to find the pace needed to challenge the midfield.
Nevertheless, Sutil says there are other teams that have shown an interest in him, although he added that, if he does swap outfits, he will only do so with team boss Colin Kolles's blessing.
"Several (teams) have shown interest in me," he told
Auto, Moto und Sport.
"The question is: will one agree? And then it's whether it's something I want. Naturally none says: drive for me. Each team inquires very carefully.
"There have already been many discussions. But my contract with Spyker also applies to 2008.
"If a move is possible into a top ten, then I must speak with Colin Kolles. But I am also motivated to move Spyker forward."
However, he added: "There has been contact with three other teams but naturally I may not say who they are."
