Super Aguri have cancelled plans to attend this week's three-day test session in Barcelona.
No testing at Barcelona this week for Honda-backed outfit
Super Aguri's troubled pre-season continued on Monday as the team confirmed they had cancelled plans to attend this week's three-day F1 group test in Barcelona.
The Honda-backed team had been due to unveil their new car for the coming season on Tuesday, but sponsorship difficulties had already forced them to cancel.
Now the team have withdrawn from the test altogether, although they hope to be at the Circuit de Catalunya next week.
Team boss Aguri Suzuki confirmed: "We will not be participating at the test in Barcelona this week due to circumstances beyond our control.
"We are planning to attend the test at the Circuit de Catalunya next week with two cars."
Suzuki has yet to confirm his driver line-up for the 2008 season, leaving Anthony Davidson's future up in the air.
Although less than four weeks remain to the season-opening Australian Grand Prix, the Englishman nevertheless said last week he was hopeful a deal could be finalised.
