Brawn and Williams in talks with Brazilian ace
Rubens Barrichello could be set for a move to Williams after he confirmed he was in talks with the Grove-based team.
The Brazilian, who has also met with Brawn GP chiefs about extending his current deal, is hot on the heels of team-mate Jenson Button in this season's championship chase.
Barrichello, twice a runner-up with Ferrari, trails Button by 14 points with two races left - and although he is the oldest driver in Formula One at 37, he is still a wanted man.
"That is true, there are talks with Williams and with Brawn, there's no doubt. But that I haven't signed any papers," Barrichello said.
"I read about everything that's been said and made it quite clear that this is a very special moment for me in Formula One.
"Today I feel very honoured that there are teams trying (for me), that there are teams I'm talking to and that my situation is a lot better than for some time.
"I'm at a very privileged stage of my career in being able to choose the car in which I'll compete. I very much want a competitive car for next season."
Barrichello made his F1 debut in 1993 and has gone on to compete in 286 races.
