Michael Schumacher is to test a GP2 car ahead of his first run for new team Mercedes GP.
The seven-times World Champion, who announced shortly before Christmas that he was returning to Formula One following a three-year hiatus, will drive the car at Jerez on Tuesday.
Schumacher is to test the car for a total of three days in order to prepare for his first F1 test in Valencia in February.
The 41-year-old spent two days at the team's Brackley base last week as he acclimatises himself ahead of his comeback.
