James Key is to become the new technical director at Sauber, replacing Willy Rampf.
Force India technical director moving to Sauber
James Key, whose departure from Force India was announced on Tuesday, is to join Sauber as technical director.
The 38-year-old will therefore take over from Willy Rampf, who is to step down at the end of April after 10 years in the role.
Key, who spent 12 years at Jordan, Midland, Spyker and Force India, will take up his post with Switzerland-based Sauber from April 1.
Force India have replaced Key with Mark Smith, who has stepped up from his previous position as design director.
