British Formula Three powerhouse team Carlin say they have not submitted an entry for next year's Formula One World Championship.
It was recently reported in the Finnish media that Carlin had applied to be the 13th outfit on the grid for the 2011 season.
But team boss Trevor Carlin has made it clear that they are not considering a switch to the top formula at the moment.
"While F1 may be a long-term goal for the team, we have not submitted an application for the 2011 season, nor are we in any position to do so," he said.
"At the moment we are 100 per cent focused on our current programmes and continue to put all our efforts into winning championships and races in the junior categories."
Carlin have won the last two British F3 titles through current Toro Rosso driver Jaime Alguersuari and Australian youngster Daniel Ricciardo.
They are also running a team in the new GP3 series, which supports Formula One at certain grand prix weekends.
