We've reached the halfway stage of the 2012 season. Time for reviews of what's already happened and previews of what's still to come as we offer exclusively live coverage of the Hungarian GP...
Ten down, ten to go. This week's coverage of the 2012 Hungarian Grand Prix - exclusively live on Sky Sports F1 - will be focused not just on the track action but poised to answer the burning question in F1 ahead of the mid-season break: just what is the state of play? We'll be hearing from the biggest names from the biggest teams in motorsport as our half-term report goes to air during Saturday's Qualifying show, with our own team of expert pundits assessing and marking each of the grid's twelve teams for their work during the season so far. We'll also have plenty to say about Fernando Alonso following his third win of the season and the Spaniard's ever-strengthening grip on the World Championship. Who can stop him? And will he be stopped? Other highlights will include a track guide of the Hungaroring in the company of not just 2008 winner Heikki Kovalainen but also the Finn's Caterham engineers, an interview with Jenson Button following his return to form for McLaren in Germany and the return this weekend to one of his most successful stamping grounds - Budapest. What else? Well, just the exclusively live coverage of each and every one of the weekend's five track events, starting on Friday morning at 8.45 with Practice One and building up to full coverage of the 2012 Hungarian Grand Prix from 11.30am on Sunday. And the good news is that, although Anthony Davidson is not yet fully fit to resume co-commentary duties, the Sky Sports F1 team is otherwise at full strength, with Georgie Thompson back to keep Ted Kravitz on his toes in Friday's edition of The F1 Show, and the newly-married Natalie Pinkham returning to roam the paddock alongside Ted throughout the rest of the weekend. As ever, don't miss it - we promise it's gonna be unmissabable... Sky F1's Hungarian GP Schedule: Thursday July 262pm: Drivers' Press Conference. Friday July 27
