Micky Adams will be keeping a keen eye on midfielder Paul Marshall and striker Tommy Wright, who have both landed trials.
Marshall is a former Valiants loanee, having finished the 2008/9 season on loan at Vale Park from Manchester City. The 22-year-old has most recently been playing for Blue Square Bet North side Droylsden. Wright is familiar to Vale manager Adams after playing under him at Leicester. The 27-year-old has just completed a brief spell at Conference promotion hopefuls Luton. Both players are training with Vale and could feature when the reserves play in the Staffordshire Senior Cup on Tuesday evening.
