Angola international Genseric Kusunga has been released from his contract with League One club Oldham.
The 27-year-old defender, whose time at SportsDirect.com Park was blighted with injuries, made 46 appearances over two years with Latics, scoring three times, including the winner in the thrilling 5-4 triumph over Peterborough in January 2014. Oldham manager Dean Holden told the club's official website: "Gensi has been a good servant for the football club and you can't fault his effort whilst with the club. We would like to thank Gensi and wish him well for the future."
