Say hello to the Bushnell Tour X, the latest rangefinder from the makers of the #1 rangefinder on the PGA Tour.
The new Tour X features revolutionary Exchange Technology that uses interchangeable faceplates. The black faceplate gives golfers a device which is legal for use in all game formats while the red faceplate shows Slope Technology providing players with adjusted distance reading on elevation changes.
When using this on my home course, I was surprised with the difference in yards on a few of the holes which I have struggled with in the past. There is as much as 12 yards difference to the green on some approach shots and some holes play 20 yards shorter than the tee box suggests.
You can easily toggle between two displays using Bushnell’s Dual Display Technology, one is a bright red display featuring Vivid Display Technology and the other is a crisp black display, which is what I’m used to having owned the Bushnell V2 Tour range finder.
The new Tour X features Jolt technology that was first introduced by Bushnell in 2014. When a golfer aims the Tour X at the flag they will receive a vibration to let them know they have locked onto their target and assure you have the exact distance to the flag.
As a golfer who plays many courses around the country I can see massive benefits with this new product, noting the slope changes on practice rounds and the speed in which you are given the accurate distance can only help anyone’s game.
