Matthew Fitzpatrick has joined the PGA Tour for the rest of the season after accepting a Special Temporary Membership.
The Englishman, who was the highest-ranked non-PGA Tour member in the world, came 12th at the US Open last week and has now surpassed the 269 non-member FedEx Points required to become eligible.
Fitzpatrick, 23, has become the third player to join the Tour as a Special Temporary Member in the 2017/18 season after Kiradech Aphibarnrat of Thailand and Chile's Joaquin Niemann.
Fitzpatrick has played in 38 Tour events in his career and finished in the top 10 three times. His best result this season so far came at the WGC-HSBC Championships, where he finished tied for ninth.
