Roberto Castro leads Sanderson Farms Championship by four

Roberto Castro opened up a four-shot lead at a rain-disrupted Sanderson Farms Championship in Jackson, Mississippi.

The American led by two after the opening 18 holes and doubled his advantage on Friday, although he was one of few players to be able to finish his second round.

Play was delayed for nearly five hours by rain, and Castro also had to overcome the shock of being stung by a yellowjacket wasp on his fifth hole of the day.

Although he couldn't match his opening-round 62, Castro again completed 18 holes without a dropped shot, and he finished in 67 blows thanks to three birdies and an eagle, which came at the eighth, when he holed out from 122 yards.

Castro's nearest challengers are four shots back on 11-under, although only Bryce Molder of that trio has completed his round - he had five birdies and two dropped shots in a round of 69.

Jhonattan Vegas is also on the same mark with two holes left to complete, the same situation as DJ Trahan.

England's Brian Davis sits in a tie for fifth place on 10-under, alongside Americans Michael Thompson and Patrick Rodgers, who has one hole remaining in his round and was eight-under on the day.

Davis started his Friday with a run of three birdies from the 11th but dropped shots at the 16th and 17th. He made two further birdies to complete a round of 69.

But Castro's lead could face a challenge from Australia's Aaron Baddeley (-9) when play restarts on Saturday, Baddeley having played only two holes before his round was suspended.
