The Johnnie Walker Championship returns to the PGA Centenary Course at Gleneagles for the 11th successive year. European Tour stats package With panoramic views of the stunning Perthshire countryside, the venue remains one of the most popular stops on the European Tour calendar. Designed by Jack Nicklaus and opened in 1993, the course has undergone a number of changes over the years as it prepares to host the Ryder Cup in five years time. Undulating in nature, the Centenary Course is around a one hour drive from Edinburgh. It is also the newest and most challenging of the three layouts at Gleneagles.

So who's teeing-up this week?

Alistair Forsyth: Possibly Scotland's best hope of a home winner this week. Was runner-up on this course in 2003. Soren Hansen: His most recent three trips to Gleneagles have produced finishes of 2nd-3rd-10th. Gregory Havret: The defending champion. Two of the 32-year-old's three Tour victories have been in Scotland. Raphael Jacquelin: The easy-swinging Frenchman has posted three top-10 finishes at Gleneagles. Graeme Storm: The former British Amateur champion has finished fifth and second here in the past two years. Oliver Wilson: Still searching for his maiden Tour title and one of the highest ranked golfers taking part this week.
