Brian Harman holds one-shot lead over Tommy Fleetwood at US Open

Tommy Fleetwood salvaged a final-hole bogey to stay within one shot of leader Brian Harman heading in to the final round of the US Open.

Fleetwood dropped a shot at the last to close a four-under 68 at Erin Hills to join Brooks Koepka and Justin Thomas - who fired a record-breaking 63 - in a share of second.
Thomas matched the lowest round in major history and set the clubhouse target at 11 under, only for Harman to edge ahead by posting a blemish-free back nine and card a five-under 67.
Four players began the day in a share of the lead and that number increased to seven by the time the leaders teed off, with Fowler, Patrick Reed and Charley Hoffman all getting to seven under.
Thomas briefly joined them with six birdies in a front-nine 31 but then bogey the 10th, as Fleetwood and Koepka exchanged birdies at the par-five first.
Three consecutive birdies from the 14th helped Reed to a seven-under 65 and set the early clubhouse target at eight under, while Hoffman briefly crept ahead with back-to-back gains from the seventh.
Hoffman slipped back into a seven-way tie when he missed from 12 feet at the 10th, only for Thomas to grab the advantage by draining a 25-footer at the 17th.
Fleetwood picked up a shot at the eighth and Hoffman birdied 14th to put three players on nine under, but Thomas went two clear when he closed his history-making round with an eight-foot eagle.
Harman rolled in a six-footer at the ninth and added another at the 11th to get within one, as Fleetwood birdied the 12th and posted a close-range gain at the 14th to move alongside Thomas.
Fowler recovered from a blemish at the 13th to birdie his next three holes and reach double figures, while Harman matched Fleetwood's gains at both the 14th and 15th to leave the pair tied on 12 under.
A superb up-and-down from the back of the 18th green saw Fleetwood leave with just a bogey after a misjudged chip, as Koepka closed with a two-putt birdie to also finish one shot back.
Harman narrowly missed out on a final-hole birdie, with his five-under 67 maintaining his advantage heading into Sunday.
Fowler heads into the final round two off the pace, while one-time joint-leader Paul Casey slipped down the leaderboard after a triple-bogey at the fourth hole.
