Australia’s Chloe Hosking sprinted to victory in a crash-strewn third edition of La Course by Le Tour de France in Paris on Sunday.
The Wiggle-High5 rider launched an early burst for the finish line on the Champs-Elysees and hung on to beat Lotta Lepisto (Cervelo-Bigla) into second place and Marianne Vos (Rabobank-Liv) into third.
World champion Lizzie Armitstead did not take part in the race.
Hosking said: "I was like, 'Are they coming? Are they coming?', and they didn't. To cross the line with my hands in the hands in the air is crazy."
The closing kilometres were marred by three crashes in quick succession, one of which brought down Britain's Dani King (Wiggle-High5).
