Track Cycling World Championships: Great Britain men miss out on medal in team pursuit
Great Britain have missed out on a medal in the men's team pursuit at the world championships.

A young quartet of Ed Clancy, Jon Dibben, Owain Doull and Sam Harrison negotiated the 4km distance in a time of 4min 04.419sec, which was not quick enough to earn a top-four place needed to reach Wednesday night's medal finals.
It was a disappointing performance from the British squad, which had travelled to Cali with the intention of challenging for gold.
They had been fourth fastest after the first 1km, but dropped to seventh place by the midway point and their hopes of staging a recovery ended when Harrison dropped out with 1km to go.
Clancy said: "We didn't announce it on Twitter, but behind the scenes we have had some problems. We knew a week ago our back was against the wall.
"[But] despite the fact we didn't have a couple of our more established riders in the line-up, we were still hoping to get a ride in the final.
"That's sport. Some days you go better than you think, other days you don't go quite so well. We have tried a bit of a different approach for these track worlds. Perhaps it just hasn't paid off."
Denmark qualified fastest in a time of 4:00.176 and will now race for gold against defending champions Australia, who were second fastest, 1.4 seconds down. Russia were third fastest and will race New Zealand for bronze.
The world championships continue on Wednesday night with the men's and women's team sprints, men's team pursuit finals and the women's scratch race. Schedules here
