Tim Wellens new leader of Eneco Tour after stage win

Belgium’s Tim Wellens leads the way in the Eneco Tour after winning the sixth stage in the Netherlands.
The Lotto rider won the stage with a time of 5:28:46, 49 seconds ahead of compatriot Greg Van Avermaet who finished second for BMC Racing.
He finished just ahead of Germany’s Simon Geschke, who was just two seconds behind Van Avermaet.
As a result, the Belgian pair of Wellens and Van Avermaet have jumped ahead of Lotto NL rider Wilco Kelderman in the overall standings, after the Dutchman finished stage six in 10th position.
The seventh and last stage will take place Sunday and stretch 194km from Sint-Pieters-Leeuw to Geraardsbergen.
