Olympic champion has urged everyone to take up a new challenge
Olympic gold medalist Rebecca Romero is urging people have a go and take up a new sport such as cycling.
Originally a rower, the 32-year-old is the only British woman to win Olympic medals in two different sports.
She first claimed a silver medal at the 2004 Games in Athens in the quadruple sculls before switching to cycling and taking individual pursuit gold in the 2008 Games in Beijing.
She hopes her experience can be an inspiration to anyone thinking of trying a new challenge.
Easy
Romero told
Sky Sports News: "Cycling's a great sport because it's manageable in that sense, it's easy just to get on your bike and go riding.
"So I'd encourage everyone - if they haven't contemplated getting on a bike or hadn't thought about it - have a think and see whether you can set yourself that challenge of something new.
"My experience is I would urge people to have a go because you never you what might happen, what you can do.
"I had a go at cycling and found that I was really good at it and ended up winning an Olympic gold medal from it so that's another reason - you never know what might happen, you never know how good you might be, why not give it a go?"
