Mayo continued their winning start to life under James Horan in the league, as they beat Tyrone 2-13 to 0-10 in Omagh.

Meanwhile, Kerry staged a late comeback to beat Cavan by three points, as Roscommon overcame Monaghan.

The Connacht side ran out convincing winners at Healy Park, beating last year's All-Ireland finalists by nine points. Goals either side of half-time from Keith Higgins and Fionn McDonagh helped Mayo to the victory, as they moved to the top of the Division 1 table.

Next up, Mayo host Cavan in Castlebar. Meanwhile, Mickey Harte's side will be eager not to get drawn into a relegation scrap as they travel to Roscommon in round three.

Seán O'Shea scored 0-12 as Kerry came from behind to beat Cavan, with Peter Keane's charges joining Mayo at the top of the table after two wins from two.

Cavan led 0-12 to 0-9 with 15 minutes to go, but were unable to see out the result as the Kingdom made the long trip home with two points in the back pocket.

An Enda Smith penalty proved crucial as the Rossies picked up their first league win under Anthony Cunningham. Buoyed by their victory over Dublin last week, the Farney County were fancied to pick up a win on the road. However, the Rossies were too strong at home, as Smith's goal and a late Ronan Daly point saw them take the spoils at Dr Hyde Park.

Division 2

Kildare have made an unbeaten start as they raided Páirc Uí Chaoimh for two points on Sunday afternoon. A Kevin Feely penalty proved the difference between the sides, as Cian O'Neill's charges triumphed, 1-10 to 0-10.

Fermanagh played out a low-scoring draw for the second week in a row, as they tied with Tipperary in Thurles, 2-5 to 2-5. Similarly, Armagh have two draws after two games, as it finished 1-13 to 2-10 against Clare.

Division 3

Offaly are off the mark, after their trip to Longford saw them take a point with a 1-6 to 0-9 draw. Elsewhere, Down were able to dig deep to beat Sligo 1-12 to 1-10 to get their promotion push back on track.

Division 4

Promotion favourites Derry overcame London at Ballinascreen, 0-19 to 1-9. Leitrim beat Wicklow 1-16 to 1-12 to join the Ulster side at the summit. Wexford overcame Antrim 1-10 to 0-9, while Limerick beat Munster rivals Waterford 1-13 to 0-10.
