Munster Hurling Championship 2019 fixture details confirmed

The date, time and venue details for the 2019 Munster Hurling Championship fixtures have been announced.

Waterford's home clash with Clare will open the championship on May 12, with Cork v Tipperary taking place later that day.

All ties will take place on Sunday afternoons, bar Waterford's trip to Páirc Uí Chaoimh on Saturday, June 8.

Tipperary v Waterford 2pm, 19/5 Semple Stadium
Limerick v Cork 4pm, 19/5 Gaelic Grounds
Waterford v Limerick 2pm, 2/6 Walsh Park
Clare v Tipperary 2pm, 4/6 Cusack Park
Cork v Waterford 7pm, 8/6 Páirc Uí Chaoimh

The Ireland Munster Minor Hurling Championship round-robin format will mirror the fixture schedule above with throw-in times two hours prior to each senior game.

Significantly, the round-robin campaign will run over six weeks in 2019, as opposed to the five weeks last year, allowing for a break weekend.

Tickets for Waterford's home games will not go on public sale, given the limited capacity in Walsh Park. They will be made available via the participating counties and clubs.
