WWE Smackdown results: Dean Ambrose beats Cesaro in Trick or Street Fight
Nikki Bella wins big battle royal; Ryback crushes a scarecrow

Dean Ambrose defeated Cesaro in a Trick or Street Fight on Smackdown’s Halloween special.
The Lunatic Fringe and The Swiss Superman used a series of seasonal weapons during their main-event match, including toy skeletons, a witch’s broom and bobbing apples.
But it was Ambrose who prevailed when, after plonking a jack-o-lantern onto Cesaro’s head, he flattened his fellow former United States Champion with a double underhook DDT.
The WWE Divas also got into the spooky spirit as they raided their fancy-dress boxes and competed in a battle royal to determine the No 1 contender to AJ Lee’s Divas Championship.
Costumes included a zombie nurse (Rosa Mendes), clown (Layla), Tarzan (Emma), Queen of Harts (Natalya), and Avatar soldier (Naomi) but the victor was a black cat (Nikki Bella).
The Arizonan – who had earlier sent twin sister and new personal assistant Brie Bella to run an errand dressed as her husband Daniel Bryan – secured the triumph after Alicia Fox and Paige came to blows.
Fox and Paige had been bosom buddies but the former was out for revenge after being attacked by the Brit at Hell in a Cell and on Monday Night Raw.
And when Fox charged Paige during the closing moments of Friday’s battle royal, both grapplers tumbled out of the ring, leaving Bella to be crowned the winner.
Impromptu
Heath Slater, meanwhile, had little joy when he donned scarecrow attire, with the rock-music lover subjected to a Meathook Clothesline and a Shell Shocked from the recently-returned Ryback.
Elsewhere, Dolph Ziggler was floored by Kane and then, after a post-bout beatdown from The Big Red Monster, Joey Mercury and Jamie Noble, defeated by Seth Rollins in an impromptu encounter.
Los Matadores propelled themselves into WWE Tag Team Championship contention by defeating current belt holders Gold and Stardust in a non-title tussle, while Rusev challenged United States Champion Sheamus – a challenge the Celtic Warrior accepted – after submitting The Great Khali.
Plus, Mark Henry took to MizTV to explain that he severed his friendship with Big Show after becoming tired of constantly being bossed around by the World’s Largest Athlete.
Big Show, still smarting from being hit with three World Strongest Slams by Henry on Raw, headed to the Smackdown ring to confront the Texan and swatted The Miz and Damien Mizdow out of the way as he tried to lay hands on his new nemesis.
But Henry came out on top again, hurling the giant through a ring barricade and telling him that if he wanted another scrap, he would be “easy to find”.
