WWE Raw results: AJ Lee slams Bella Twins - and loses to Brie

Erick Rowan steps up to challenge Big Show

Down in the dumps: AJ Lee lost the Divas Title at Survivor Series
Down in the dumps: AJ Lee lost the Divas Title at Survivor Series

AJ Lee could not hide her dislike of The Bella Twins on Monday Night Raw.

The former Divas champion headed into Indianapolis seething after the siblings worked together to help Nikki Bella pluck the butterfly-emblazoned belt at Survivor Series.

Brie Bella kissed Lee moments into Sunday’s match, distracting the Black Widow and allowing Nikki to pin the New Jersey native following a brutal punch and a Rack Attack.

Lee did not take her defeat well on WWE’s flagship show, launching a stinging attack on the Bellas before and after she was beaten by Brie following an assist from the newly-gilded Nikki.

Meanwhile, Big Show’s attempts to apologise for turning on Team Cena at Survivor Series turned sour when the WWE fans refused to believe that the giant’s remorse was genuine.

The World’s Largest Athlete then bashed the WWE Universe and dared any of the “cowards” in the locker room to criticise him face-to-face – a challenge Erick Rowan accepted.

The ex-Wyatt Family member declared that he was not a fan of bullies and proceeded to send Big Show tumbling from the ring with an eye-catching spinning heel kick.

Elsewhere, The Miz and Damien Mizdow retained the WWE Tag Team Titles by beating former champions Gold and Stardust, while Fandango edged Justin Gabriel, just as he did at Survivor Series.

Plus, some crossed wires between Adam Rose and The Bunny led to the pair losing an interspecies tag-team encounter with the husband and wife tandem of Tyson Kidd and Natalya.
