WWE Main Event results: Tyson Kidd and Natalya win interspecies tag-team match
Canadian husband and wife down Adam Rose and The Bunny
Wednesday 19 November 2014 12:53, UK
Tyson Kidd and Natalya won the first-ever interspecies tag-team match on Tuesday’s edition of WWE Main Event.
The Canadian husband and wife saw off the challenge of Adam Rose and The Bunny in Knoxville, Tennessee, with Kidd submitting the furry animal through the Sharpshooter to end the clash.
The Bunny – whose alliance with Rose has been far from smooth in recent weeks – suffered another blow after the match, when he was booted in the head by the victorious Kidd.
Elsewhere, there were pre-Survivor Series triumphs for Bray Wyatt, The Usos and Alicia Fox.
Wyatt, who will meet Dean Ambrose on Sunday, escaped from Jack Swagger’s Patriot Lock to whack the Real American with Sister Abigail and pick up the win via pinfall.
Plus, The Usos gained momentum ahead of the Fatal Four-Way Tag Team Championship bout this weekend, besting champions Gold and Stardust in a non-title tussle while the other two tandems involved in St Louis, Los Matadores and The Miz and Damien Mizdow, watched at the announce desk.
Alicia Fox, meanwhile, recovered from a brutal kick to the face from Paige to conquer her former best friend, but the two will scrap it out again at Survivor Series when Fox teams with Emma, Naomi and Natalya to take on the Norwich-born Divas as well as Layla, Summer Rae and Cameron.
WWE Survivor Series will be shown at 1am on Sunday (Monday morning) live on Sky Sports Box Office and Sky Sports HD Box Office.
