Yvan Muller consolidated his position at the top of the FIA World Touring Cars championship after finishing first and fifth in Portimao, Portugal.
The Frenchman claimed his sixth win of the season in race one when he overtook pole-sitter Gabriele Tarquini before the first corner.
The reigning champion followed up victory with a fifth-placed finish after a tough battle against Britain's Rob Huff, Alberto Cerqui and Tarquini.
Alain Menu won the second race of the day in dominant fashion when he led from the front after a perfect start.
It marked a strong comeback for the Chevrolet driver after he battled back from ninth on the grid in race one to finish fifth.
Menu told www.autosport.com: "I changed the car a lot after race one, and I was much happier with it.
"I wanted to really push in the early laps, as I wasn't sure if my team-mates could pass everyone and catch me towards the end.
"I'm pleased with the reaction from people and the win is the icing on the cake. However, the win is 25 points towards my championship and it's now back to reality for the rest of the season."
