A bird's eye view of the latest leg of the Volvo Ocean race

It can get lonely out in the middle of the ocean. But the navigator of one of the teams in this year's Volvo Ocean Race picked up a little friend on the way yesterday.
Ross Monson, the British navigator of Team Akzo Nobel, found a surprise passenger hitching a ride en route to Lisbon.
The feathered friend was a migrant en route from Western Europe to Africa, taking advantage of a convenient rest stop before continuing its journey south.
Maybe the two will link up again on the way back next spring?
The Volvo Ocean Race is an eight-month round-the-world race which will finish in The Hague in June next year.
Sky Ocean Rescue, which has engaged with over 6m people to raise awareness of the dire health of our oceans, is aiming to reach a new audience by becoming official race team and media partner of 'Turn the Tide on Plastic', skippered by Dee Caffari.
At this early stage, Akzo Nobel are currently in third place with Turn the Tide on Plastic in sixth.
