OG became the only team to win three Dota 2 Major events when taking the honours in Boston last weekend.
The grand finals saw OG dominate the majority of their matches after a clean group phase where they topped the table.
The team first faced 2016's The International winners MVP Phoenix in a pair of matches that gave little room for the world champions to gain much ground.
After WarriorsGaming.Unity had survived their round-of-16 match against Complexity, OG faced the relatively unknown team in the quarter-finals.
Though they would go on to win, OG lost the first match of the series after a near-hour long match of back and forth against a team they should have had fewer issues facing.
In the semi-finals, OG faced Evil Geniuses, with yet another clean 2-0 sweep, managing to win both games in under an hour.
In the best-of-five grand final, it was Ad Finem, an underdog team from Greece, that was to challenge OG and their attempts to claim to a third Major title.
The match started fairly typically, and though Ad Finem fought to put on pressure, the first two games of the series comfortably went to OG.
The third game of the series went a little differently, with Ad Finem managing to come together as a solid unit to hold back OG's early advances - as with the previous to matches - and hold out for well over an hour.
The latter part of the match was scrappy to say the least, with both sides taking struggled shots at one another. As both closed in on one another's base, it was Ad Finem that managed to claim the Ancient first.
Ad Finem was clearly invigorated by the victory, but they still failed to utilise their newfound confidence in the third game.
Once again, OG found their way to an early lead, and they pushed to snowball on from that. By the 38th minute, OG had claimed the series victory and with it a third Major title and $1 million in prize money.
OG are the only team to have won multiple Valve-hosted Majors, and after a disappointing showing at The International earlier this year it looks like this isn't a team ready to give up.
Of course, OG were not the only team to play in the Boston Major. Ginx eSports TV has a comprehensive look at the events of the finals, and some of the most exciting moments from the tournament.
