Triple H sit-down: Cerebral Assassin says Seth Rollins' cash-in attempt 'best for business'

Game explains why he's handed Roman Reigns a big opportunity

Every Wednesday on WWE.com, Triple H sits down with announcer Michael Cole to discuss the latest grappling developments.

WWE MONEY IN THE BANK

Repeated until 9pm, Saturday
Sky Sports Box Office

WWE Chief’s Operating Officer often looks ahead to the big upcoming shows but he also mentions the Superstars that have impressed or irked him in equal measure.

This week, Triple H gave his take on Seth Rollins trying to cash in his Money in the Bank contract on WWE World Heavyweight Champion John Cena; explained why he placed enemy Roman Reigns in the Battleground main event; and laughed off suggestions he does not possess a Plan B.

Plus, with Chris Jericho, The Miz and AJ Lee making shock comebacks on Raw - and the latter ripping the Divas Championship from Paige in a virtual carbon copy of her defeat to the Brit the night after WrestleMania XXX - The Cerebral Assassin revealed his excitement at their returns...

Seth Rollins’ targetting of John Cena on Raw...

TRIPLE H SAYS: What is the point in having a Money in the Bank contract if you don’t try to cash it in? Also, did you hear the crowd when Cena was lying on the ground and Rollins walked through the entranceway with a referee? Situations like that, where somebody like Seth has the opportunity to unseat a 15-time world champion, are best for business. Dean Ambrose stopped that, though, and if I was a gambling man I would say that if Ambrose continues to get involved in things that he has no business in then Rollins is the TNT he talks about and that it is going to blow up in his face.

Roman Reigns' Battleground reward...

TRIPLE H SAYS: Have you heard the reactions Reigns gets? Reigns in the title match is what the WWE Universe wants and what’s best for business. Cena has looked into Reigns’ eyes and knows how badly he wants the WWE World Heavyweight Championship but if I was Cena, looking across the ring at three guys – Reigns, Randy Orton and Kane – who are hungry, I would know this is the hard way.

The Plan B he will not reveal...

TRIPLE H SAYS: When Rollins dismantled The Shield, did you see that coming? When Rollins climbed the ladder at Money in the Bank and grabbed that briefcase, did you see that coming? No, you didn’t. I am always a step ahead. In fact, I’m more than one step ahead. Plan B might happen on Smackdown, Raw or Main Event. The plan is always there and when it goes into effect you won’t see it coming.

Raw’s returns and their potential impact...

TRIPLE H SAYS: We saw the return of one of the biggest Superstars in WWE history, the one and only Chris Jericho, and then the Wyatts attacked him. Why does Bray Wyatt do what Bray Wyatt does? Only he knows. Let’s not, though, belittle the facts that multimedia superstar The Miz returned, which was an epic moment in itself, and AJ Lee also came back and won the Divas Championship. I think there is a little tit-for-tat with AJ and Paige. Paige came in naïve the night after WrestleMania and AJ fell for it and the favour was returned this week on Raw, but knowing Paige the way I do and what she’s been through as a second-generation Superstar, I don’t think this is over.
