Money in the Bank: Bad News Barrett suffers injury ahead of Sunday's pay-per-view
Brit separates shoulder at Smackdown taping in Pittsburgh

Intercontinental Champion Bad News Barrett suffered an injury scare at Tuesday’s Smackdown taping in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
The British Superstar – who successfully defended his title against Dolph Ziggler on Monday’s episode of Raw – hurt his shoulder after being thrown into the barricade by Jack Swagger.
It has not yet been determined whether the incident will prevent Barrett from competing in Sunday’s WWE World Heavyweight Title Contract Match at Money in the Bank.
Barrett was placed into that ladder contest by Triple H on Raw and, if fit, will compete alongside Swagger, Ziggler, Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose, Kofi Kingston and Rob Van Dam.
We’re going to do some additional testing this week and then sit down with him and talk about options for treatment for this injury.
Dr Chris Amann
"After Barrett felt an immediate pain and a pop, we brought him back to the training room and the exam showed a separated shoulder,” said WWE physician Dr. Chris Amann.
“We’re going to do some additional testing this week and then sit down with him and talk about options for treatment for this injury.”
Los Matadores competitor Fernando, meanwhile, is undergoing rehab at WWE’s Performance Center in Orlando, Florida after injuring his ankle and knee at a WWE Live Event last weekend.
The wrestler was taken to a local emergency room in Newark, Delaware as a precaution and after X-rays were assessed on Monday, Amann said he expects Fernando to be out of action for around a month.
"Fortunately there are no fractures,” explained Amann. “However, he has a pretty significant left ankle sprain, as well as a sprain of one of the ligaments of the knee.
"We put him in a boot, he’s on crutches, and we expect him to be back in three to four weeks."
