WWE Raw results: Dean Ambrose at centre of the action on Monday night in Memphis
Lunatic Fringe emerges from locked room to save John Cena

Dean Ambrose is back – and he means business.
The Lunatic Fringe returned from a month on the sidelines at Night of Champions by attacking the man who had put him on the shelf, former Shield stablemate Seth Rollins.
And Ambrose continued to target The Architect – who had sent him face first into a pile of cinderblocks in August – when Raw emanated from Memphis, Tennessee on Monday night.
The Ohio wrestler was not alone in wanting Rollins’ head on a platter, though, as John Cena was also seeking blood after Mr Money in the Bank had prevented him from defeating Brock Lesnar at Night of Champions and subsequently claiming the WWE World Heavyweight Title.
Ambrose and Cena’s hatred of The Aerialist – and desire to face him one-on-one – almost led to them clashing with each other in Raw’s tempestuous opening, but they eventually teamed up to assault Rollins before he fled the arena in a civilian’s car.
Ambrose and Cena were, however, granted matches with other members of The Authority, with the former facing Kane and the latter renewing his rivalry with long-time rival Randy Orton.
The Lunatic Fringe almost had Kane beaten after hitting the Devil’s Favourite Demon with Dirty Deeds but as he tried to pin the veteran, Rollins returned and, with Kane’s help, punished his ex-ally.
Save
Ambrose retaliated by pummelling Rollins backstage and even though that led to him being locked in a room by The Authority, a man so resourceful was never going to let that be an end to his evening.
So when Cena’s main-event clash turned into a three-on-one attack – The Cenation Leader was battered by Orton, Rollins and Kane – and he looked set to have his skull smashed into cinderblocks, a la Ambrose over the summer, Ambrose made the save.
The former United States Champion emerged from where the blocks should have been and joined Cena in pulverising The Authority – though while Kane received an Attitude Adjustment, Rollins, once again, managed to scuttle from harm's way.
Elsewhere, Dolph Ziggler regained the Intercontinental Title that he lost to The Miz at Night of Champions by pinning The Awesome One in Memphis, while Natalya beat Summer Rae with the Sharpshooter and Jack Swagger defeated Bo Dallas with the Patriot Lock.
Sheamus banded with The Usos to see off Cesaro and new WWE Tag Team Champions Gold and Stardust, plus Mark Henry, just as he did at Night of Champions, lost to Rusev, slipping into a state of unconsciousness after being caught in The Accolade.
And finally, Nikki Bella, after receiving a slap from her sister, Brie, was downed by AJ Lee, while Titus O’Neil and Heath Slater were floored by Adam Rose and his ever-loyal Bunny.
If you missed Monday Night Raw, you can catch it again at 11pm on Thursday on Sky Sports 3 (channel 404).
