Sheffield Steelers gained instant revenge for Saturday's home loss to Cardiff Devils by claiming a 4-3 win after penalties in the Welsh capital on Sunday.
After crashing to a 4-2 defeat on home ice on Saturday, Sheffield made amends in a tense shootout with Cory Pecker firing home the winning shot in sudden death round two.
During game time, Devils had hit back from 3-1 behind to force overtime thanks to a Mac Faulkner hat-trick, while for Steelers skipper Jonathan Phillips scored twice.
Coventry Blaze recorded a weekend double courtesy of a 4-3 victory over Fife Flyers.
