Irish eyes are smiling after Dublin-born WWE Superstar Sheamus won Sunday night's hugely anticipated 30-man Royal Rumble.

Entering the contest as entrant number 22, The Celtic Warrior was the last man standing, dumping hot favourite Chris Jericho to earn a World Title opportunity against the champion of his choosing at WrestleMania XXVIII on April 1.

CM Punk stood tall over Dolph Ziggler in the WWE Championship Match at Royal Rumble, proudly showing off the most coveted prize in WWE.

However, The Voice of the Voiceless now has to get through WWE's next stop on the Road to WrestleMania, Elimination Chamber, if he wants to remain on top heading into the Miami showpiece.

World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan retained his World Title against Big Show and Mark Henry in a strongly contested Triple Threat Steel Cage Match.

Bryan managed to escape the clutches of The World's Largest Athlete as the giant tried to lift him back into the ring, but as Show lost his grip on the champion, Bryan was sent crashing to the arena floor to retain his title.

In front of more than 18,000 fans, The Big Red Monster Kane and John Cena went to war, trading one punishing blow after another. When their bitter fight spilled from the ring, the bout ended in a double count-out.

WWE Royal Rumble is currently being repeated on Sky Sports Box Office (channel 743) between 9am on Monday January 30 and 9pm on Saturday February 4. The easiest way to book the event is to visit www.sky.com/orderboxoffice.
