WWE Main Event: Seth Rollins beats Dolph Ziggler with Peace of Mind

Former Shield star shines in Tuesday's big bout

Dolph Ziggler gave Seth Rollins a piece of his mind on WWE Main Event – before he was levelled by the Architect’s Peace of Mind.

Ziggler did not mince his words at the beginning of Tuesday night’s show, brandishing Rollins a “self-centered scumbag traitor” for shattering his bond with former Shield stablemates, Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns.

But The Show-Off was unable to wipe the smirk from Rollins’ face during Main Event’s main event, falling victim, just as he did on the most recent episode of Smackdown, to the ex-Hound of Justice’s finishing manoeuvre.

Ziggler was not the only Superstar to be tamed in Green Bay, Wisconsin, though, with Kofi Kingston and Luke Harper downed by Rusev and Jimmy Uso respectively.

Kingston urged his larger opponent to leave America if he hated the country as much as his social ambassador, Lana, insists – which earned the Ghanaian placement in the Bulgarian Brute’s Accolade.

Harper, meanwhile, failed to cope with WWE Tag Team Champion Uso’s effervescent arsenal of moves and slipped to defeat when he was hit with a potent side kick, 24 hours after he was neutered by Reigns in Raw’s showpiece encounter.

Plus, Layla gained revenge for Summer Rae’s milk-based attack on her on Monday evening by dousing the ballroom expert with the dairy product as well as cat litter while she spoke with Renee Young backstage.
