Olympic silver medallist and University Boat Race winner Acer Nethercott dies aged 35
Olympic silver medallist and double Boat Race winning cox Acer Nethercott has died at the age of 35.

The cause of his death has not been announced but the GB Rowing Team have confirmed the news.
"Today we mourn passing of Acer Nethercott. Keen, eager & spirited like his name. Great member of @GBRowingTeam. Thoughts are with family," read a message on their official Twitter account.
Nethercott coxed the British men's eight to Olympic silver at the Beijing Games in 2008 and also helped Oxford University to claim two Boat Race wins.
He was also part of the Oxford crew that lost to Cambridge in controversial fashion in 2004 following a clash of blades.
