A new provisional calendar for the 2012 MotoGP season has been revealed, featuring minor changes from the original version.
The Federation Internationale de Motocyclisme have announced the start date has been moved forward by a week, with the Qatar Grand Prix night race set for an April 8 slot as opposed to its original April 15 position.
Also, the Spanish Grand Prix at Jerez has been confirmed for the weekend of April 29 while the German Grand Prix at the Sachsenring and the Portuguese Grand Prix remain subject to contract.
The British Grand Prix at Silverstone is currently scheduled to be the sixth race of the season on June 17.
