WWE Clash of Champions: Sami Zayn to face Chris Jericho

Sami Zayn and Chris Jericho will go one-on-one at WWE Clash of Champions after coming to blows on The Highlight Reel on Raw.

Six-time world champion Jericho took unkindly to Zayn suggesting he had lost some of his lustre since he aligned himself with Universal Champion Kevin Owens.

Zayn also insisted Owens would abandon Jericho - something he did to Zayn - leading to Y2J smashing his guest in the head with a mobile phone and hitting a Codebreaker.

Zayn will get a chance to exact revenge when he battles the record nine-time Intercontinental Champion live on Sky Sports Box Office on Sunday, September 25.

Jericho and Zayn have met in three singles matches on WWE television this year - Zayn leading the head-to-head record 2-1.

The former NXT Champion defeated Jericho on Smackdown in April and July, with Jericho's sole win coming when Raw visited London's O2 Arena in the spring.
