Big Dog to challenge Rusev for US Title at Clash of Champions

Roman Reigns warmed up for his WWE Clash of Champions bout with Rusev by beating Kevin Owens inside a steel cage on Monday Night Raw.
Reigns climbed over the cage and dropped to the floor before Owens could crawl out of the structure's door in a high-octane main event in Memphis.
The former Shield man had learnt earlier in the show that he would get a shot at Rusev's United States Title on Sunday evening after the Bulgarian had dashed his hopes of defeating Owens and earning a Universal Title match on the previous edition of Raw.
Rusev and Owens locked Reigns in the cage after his win on Monday night but their attempts to beat up The Big Dog were foiled by Seth Rollins, the man Owens will defend his Universal Title against at Clash of Champions, live on Sky Sports Box Office.
Rollins - who had fought Rusev to a double count-out in the night's opening match - ascended the cage before performing a diving crossbody onto Rusev and Owens.
Rollins and Rusev had been placed in a one-on-one scuffle by Raw General Manager Mick Foley after they interfered in the Reigns-Owens encounter seven days ago.
Rusev dominated the early skirmishes while targeting his opponent's back but the speedier Rollins replied with a flurry of kicks and forearms and two suicide dives as the action spilled outside.
Neither competitor returned to the ring before the referee's count reached 10 as Rollins survived an attempted powerbomb through the announce desk and hit a crossbody on Rusev off the stage.
