WWE NXT: Samoa Joe demands NXT Title, William Regal refuses

Samoa Joe's demand to have the NXT Championship handed back to him was ignored by William Regal on Wednesday night.
Joe revealed that the back, elbow and shoulder injuries he had inflicted on reigning NXT Champion Shinsuke Nakamura last week would rule the Japanese out of action for six to 12 weeks.
The Submission Specialist, who lost the title to Nakamura at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn II in August, then pleaded with NXT General Manager Regal to strip Nakamura of the championship.
However, when the Englishman refused, an enraged Joe headed up the ramp and insisted the entire NXT roster would feel the consequences.
Austin Aries, meanwhile, shrugged off Oney Lorcan's blitz of European Uppercuts to beat the Boston-born star with his Last Chancery triangle choke submission move.
Aries then dared Hideo Itami - who had blasted him with a Go To Sleep in Brooklyn last month - to meet him in the ring but when Itami appeared, Aries quickly scarpered.
Elsewhere, Cedric Alexander bounced back from his defeat in Raw's Crusierweight Championship No 1 contender's Fatal Four-Way by beating Andrade "Cien" Almas.
The 27-year-old tapped out to Brian Kendrick on Monday night - Kendrick subsequently earning a Clash of Champions showdown with TJ Perkins - but edged Almas with a Lumbar Check backbreaker.
Plus, Australian wrestler Billie Kay defeated Aliyah with a big boot as she continued her push for a match against NXT Women's Champion Asuka.
