Roman Reigns will defend the United States Championship against Rusev inside Hell in a Cell at October's Raw pay-per-view.
The Big Dog won the title from Rusev at Clash of Champions in September but their rematch the following night on Raw ended in a double count-out.
Rusev's wife and valet, Lana, petitioned for her husband to receive another championship opportunity on Monday's episode of Raw, with Reigns initially laughing off the proposition.
The former Shield man was then attacked by the Bulgarian Brute, though, and subsequently agreed to put his title on the line on October 30 inside WWE's most demonic structure.
Reigns - who is currently in his first reign as United States Champion - competed in his maiden Hell in a Cell bout at last year's event, defeating Bray Wyatt with a Spear.
Rusev, however, is yet to compete in the Cell, with the nearest he has come a series of steel cage matches against John Cena at house shows in May 2015.
