Brock Lesnar crushed Rusev in under five minutes in his first WWE match since his 86-second loss to Goldberg at Survivor Series.
The Beast Incarnate downed two-time United States Champion Rusev with his trademark F5 on a Raw-brand show in Mexico City on Saturday night.
Lesnar was stunned by Goldberg in Toronto last month in the pair's rematch from WrestleMania XX in 2004, the Anomaly blitzed by two spears and a jackhammer by the returning legend.
However, Lesnar could exact revenge in San Antonio on January 29 when both he and Goldberg compete in the 30-man Royal Rumble, the winner of which will main event WrestleMania 33 in April.
Elsewhere in in Mexico, Roman Reigns beat Kevin Owens to retain the United States Title, just over two weeks before he aims to win Owens' Universal Title at Roadblock: End of the Line.

WWE Roadblock: End of the Line will be shown live on Sky Sports Box Office (channel 491) and Sky Sports HD Box Office (channel 492) from 1am on Sunday, December 18 (Monday morning).
The pay-per-view will cost £14.95 for viewers in the United Kingdom and €21.95 for customers in the Republic of Ireland.
WWE Roadblock: End of the Line will repeated on Sky Sports Box Office (channel 491) BUT NOT Sky Sports HD Box Office (channel 492) between 10am on Monday, December 19 and 10pm on Thursday, December 22 - 10pm is the start of the final playout.
