Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns ended 2016 with a bang - by laying out Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho on Monday Night Raw in Chicago.

Reigns successfully defended his United States Title against Owens in the main event but only after Rollins had curbed interference from Chris Jericho by cracking the veteran with a Pedigree.

Reigns pounced amid the chaos to down Owens - the man he will challenge for the Universal Title at the Royal Rumble on January 29 - with a spear.

Rollins and The Big Dog then pained Owens and Jericho further, the former nailing Owens with a Pedigree and the latter blasting Jericho with a spear.

Rollins had chosen to attack Jericho during Reigns and Owens' title tussle after Y2J had clocked him with two Codebreakers earlier in the night following his battle with Braun Strowman.

The Aerialist's clash with Strowman had ended in a no contest moments before, after Sami Zayn arrived to jump the monster, a man he will meet in a Last Man Standing Match next week.

Strowman gave Zayn a taster of what awaits him when he attacked Bo Dallas, Darren Young and The Shining Stars, the bearded brawler even using a Christmas tree as a weapon!
