WWE 205 Live: Jack Gallagher downs Ariya Daivari with umbrella

England's Jack Gallagher used an umbrella to defeat Ariya Daivari in an "I Forfeit" Match on Tuesday night's edition of WWE 205 Live.

The Manchester cruiserweight saw his rival smash his favourite brolly, William, in half during the early part of the bout but then brought two more umbrellas into play.

Daivari pretended that he was going to quit when Gallagher threatened to wallop him with one of them and then nearly conquered the Brit with a Cobra Clutch submission.

However, Gallagher broke out of the hold with his trusty weapon and then caught Daivari in an umbrella-strengthened hammerlock crossface chickenwing to force his foe to give up.

Elsewhere, Scotland's Noam Dar attacked Cedric Alexander after the latter upset Alicia Fox by confirming their relationship was over, despite Fox helping him down The Brian Kendrick on Raw.

Dar's assault proved costly for Alexander as the North Carolina wrestler, visibly troubled by a knee injury, was pinned by Drew Gulak following a belly-to-back suplex.

Meanwhile, Tony Nese - whose scheduled non-title bout against Cruiserweight Champion Rich Swann on Raw was shelved due to interference from Neville - conquered Mustafa Ali.

Nese suplexed Ali onto the ring ropes before nailing a knee strike to secure his victory.
