Kevin Durant scored 49 points for the Golden State Warriors, also grabbing nine rebounds, two blocks and two steals

Kevin Durant went past 40 points for a second straight game as he led the Golden State Warriors to a 116-110 victory over the Orlando Magic.

Durant scored eight of his 49 points in the final 79 seconds as the Warriors pulled out a victory that looked unlikely for much of Monday's contest at Oracle Arena.

The two-time Finals MVP connected on 16 of his 33 shots, four of his 10 three-point attempts and all 13 of his free throws en route to the fifth-highest scoring game of his career.
