Los Angeles Lakers forward Kyle Kuzma dropped 35 points to claim MVP honours as Team USA defeated Team World 161-144 in the Rising Stars game.
Kuzma's game-high tally came in just 22 minutes as he shot 15-of-27 from the field, including 3-of-10 from three-point range.
The Lakers forward made his MVP intentions clear from the outset, hammering home two alley-oop dunks in the opening five minutes of the game. He then found his range from downtown, draining two long three-pointers on successive Team USA possessions.
Kuzma nailed his third triple mid-way through the second quarter before collecting an offensive rebound and tossing up a an unorthodox underarm hook shot that also connected.
A vicious tomahawk dunk punctuated Kuzma's third quarter efforts and he added several easy baskets late on to cement himself as the game's leading scorer as the US team rolled to a 17-point win.
