Lonzo Ball provided a spectacular no-look behind-the-back assist in the Los Angeles Lakers' loss to their city rivals the Clippers.
Ball played almost 43 minutes and produced 19 points, five rebounds and six assists but it was not enough to prevent the Lakers, playing without the injured LeBron James, from falling to a 118-107 defeat.
Nevertheless, the young point guard brought the Staples Center crowd to its feet with a spectacular play in the final minute of the second quarter.
After his jump shot was partially blocked, Ball hustled to prevent a turnover. He regathered possession near the top of the three-point arc but was moving away from the Clippers' basket.
In one motion, Ball flipped an improvised behind-the-back pass to team-mate Tyson Chandler who was standing alone under the Clippers' hoop. The veteran center threw down a two-handed slam to complete the play as the crowd roared.
