The Pistons (16-17) have taken advantage of a home game-heavy start to the season (19 of their 33 games have been played at home).

Led by Blake Griffin and Andre Drummond, the Pistons currently sit eighth in the East after suffering a six-game losing streak earlier this month.

Detroit arrested that decline with two big victories over the Boston Celtics and the Minnesota Timberwolves but have won just three of their last 10 games.

After the surprisingly strong start to the season, the Orlando Magic have struggled mightily in the recent games, slumping to a four-game losing streak and falling away from the Eastern Conference playoff places.

The Magic (15-19) sit 10th in the East and have won just nine of their 20 home games to date. However, their last home victory saw them hammer Eastern Conference leaders the Toronto Raptors by 29 points, a win that snapped their losing run.

Led by experienced center Nikola Vucevic and explosive forward Aaron Gordon, the Magic also boast two younger big men with enormous potential, Mo Bamba and Jonathan Isaac.
