Stephen Curry erupted for 48 points, including 11 three-pointers, to lead the Golden State Warriors to victory over the Dallas Mavericks.
Curry connected on 17 of his 32 shots, went 11-of-19 from downtown and hit what turned out to be the decisive basket with 46.7 seconds remaining as the Warriors recorded a 119-114 win, their fourth successive victory.
Curry opened his account with a drive into the lane and a trademark up-and-under lay-up finish. He followed that up with his first three of the game, connecting from the top of the arc with 7:51 remaining in the first quarter. He then used a give-and-go with Draymond Green to create and hit a corner three one minute later.
Curry heated up late in the second quarter, hitting a step-back three from the top of the key before mesmerising DeAndre Jordan with his dribble and hitting a triple over the Mavs center from the left corner.
The two-time MVP passed 40 points with another quick-release three with 4:12 remaining in the game to cut the Warriors' deficit to 110-108 and tied the game at 114 apiece with a floater in the lane with 1:39 left.
Curry capped his stellar performance with a clutch go-ahead three over Dorian Finney-Smith with 42.2 seconds on the clock and iced the game from the line with 5.3 seconds remaining with two free throws to seal the win.
