Tamsin Greenway gave an emotional farewell speech after ending her netball career with a 68-58 win in her testimonial match.
Former and current netball stars joined the Storm player-coach on court as Greenway's 'Team Blue' took on 'Team Purple' in front of a sell-out crowd at Surrey Sports Park.
Greenway lined up alongside Storm teammates Rachel Dunn and Pamela Cookey, while England captain Sara Bayman and new Storm head coach Kathryn Ratnapala also featured in 'Team Blue'.
'Team Purple' included current Storm stars Hannah Reid and Katt Ainsworth, former Storm captain Becky Trippick and Loughborough Lightning Head Coach Karen Atkinson.
Greenway, who collected 67 England caps, announced her immediate retirement from all forms of netball in October and continue in her coaching role with Storm for the 2016 Vitality Netball Superleague season.
Addressing the crowd after the game, Greenway said: "That was a lot of fun. You could see out there I definitely had six months off and had not trained!
"I want to thank all the players out here tonight. Not only are they all my friends, but some of them are like my sisters and my family. I've known them since I was 18 and to come back and play for this today and make some money for charity and to share it with you guys who just love netball is amazing.
"People who know me know I'm just the biggest netball geek and off court I'm quite to myself. Thank you so much for doing this, thank you for raising money for Shooting Star Chase Hospice and for sharing it with these guys because it was just fantastic tonight!"
The 2016 Vitality Netball Superleague season kicks off live on Sky Sports on January 30, with eight hours of live Netball on Super Saturday.
