Tamsin Greenway’s Wasps defeat Celtic Dragons

Tamsin Greenway’s return to Vitality Netball Superleague action inspired her Wasps Netball side to a 62-40 win against Celtic Dragons.
Injuries to Amy Flanagan and Sophia Candappa forced a reshuffle, paving way for Wasps Director of Netball Greenway to make her first Superleague appearance since retiring in 2015.
Wasps Netball produced an impressive second half display to build a big lead against the visiting Welsh team, finishing the game with a convincing 22 goal-margin victory.
Greenway said: "I'm really pleased with how the team responded to the changes we were forced to make tonight.
"Playing in this game wasn't planned - there was no 'Greenway' on the back of my dress. My job here is to win games, I still play and train with the girls and after losing two of our starting seven we were forced into making some changes.
"It was nice to have a run around and get back on court but it's a short-term fix, we need to get past these injuries and start getting players back out there.
"We've had a bit of a rollercoaster season. I'm impressed with how the players have bounced back in recent weeks, so now we need to get into that top four and then of course anything can happen from there."
